Returns, refunds and warranty

At Kings Gadgets, we want you to feel confident about your purchase. If you have a problem with your order or need help with a device, contact us on WhatsApp at +234 708 758 4604.

If there’s a problem with your order

If your item arrives damaged, is different from what you ordered, or develops a fault, please contact us with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos or a short video can help us understand the problem.

We’ll review your request and explain the next steps. Depending on the issue and your rights under Nigerian law, the solution may be a repair, replacement or refund.

Change-of-mind returns

If you change your mind, contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return.

Warranty

Our additional store warranty periods start from the day you receive your order:

New devices: 1 month. UK Used devices: 2 weeks. Accessories: No additional store warranty.

If a product listing states a longer warranty, the longer period applies. For UK Used devices, please review the listed condition and any unit-specific condition report before ordering.

The warranty covers faults arising during normal use, subject to assessment. The additional warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse or damage caused by unauthorised repairs. Normal battery wear is different from a defective battery.

These warranty terms do not take away your rights under applicable Nigerian law. For qualifying defective goods, those rights may include a remedy within three months after delivery, even when the additional store warranty is shorter or does not apply.

Making a warranty claim

Send us a WhatsApp message with your order number and details of the problem. We’ll explain how to return the item for assessment.

Before sending in a phone, laptop or other device, please back up your data and remove personal accounts and passwords where possible.

Refunds

If a refund is due, we’ll confirm the amount and next steps with you. We aim to initiate approved refunds within 5 working days after inspecting the returned item. How long the money takes to reach your account may also depend on Paystack and your bank.

Where the law requires Kings Gadgets to cover the cost of returning an item, you will not be charged that cost.
